Rosemarie Campbell is a working artist who resides in Cranford, New Jersey with her family. She graduated from Brooklyn College with a Bachelor of Fine Arts (BFA) degree and has also done post-baccalaureate work at the Fashion Institute of Technology (FIT) and the School of Visual Arts (SVA) in New York City.
She has always been passionate about arts and began drawing at the age of eight. Rosemarie is experienced in the following mediums: oil, pastel, charcoal and watercolor.
After college, she pursued a career in digital arts working for major advertising and publishing firms in New York City, including BBDO worldwide and Macmillan/McGraw-Hill. At BBDO, Rosemarie worked closely with prominent art directors on blue-chip client accounts—including Pepsi, Fed-Ex, and Pizza Hut—for television and print including Super Bowl commercials. At McMillan/McGraw Hill, she provided retouching, design, and layout for school textbooks, some of which are still in use today.
She eventually left the digital art world to raise her family but continued to pursue and develop her craft through involvement and classes at the Visual Arts Center of NJ. At the Rahway Arts Guild, Rosemarie has begun showing her paintings and is now working under the tutelage of Mr. Angelito David, an award winning master water color artist.
She is currently producing work at her home studio and has formed a working group of artists. Rosemarie also teaches privately to a select number of students. She has been traveling to attend workshops of notable artists such as Tony Couch, Frank Webb, Tony Connor, and Anne Kullaf. She looks forward to continuing to grow as an artist, connecting with other artists, and sharing her knowledge and talents with others.
